This Privacy Policy explains what information Shroom SEO (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, how we use it and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Information we collect
- Contact and booking form: your name, email address, website, chosen plan, message and, if you book a call, your preferred date, time, call type and phone number.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address and the date you signed up.
- Comments: if you comment on a blog post, the name, email and comment you submit, plus your IP address and browser details to help catch spam.
- Client account access: if you become a client, the user access you give us to your website, Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Google Business Profile. This is covered by our agreement with you.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website, and we do not sell your information.
How we use it
- To answer your question, prepare your free SEO audit or set up your call.
- To send the newsletter you asked for. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
- To provide the SEO services in your plan, if you become a client.
- To keep the website secure and free of spam.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress may set a cookie to remember your name and email if you choose that option when commenting, and sets login cookies only for people who sign in to manage the site.
Third-party services
To load fast, this website gets fonts from Google Fonts and its styling and icon files from the jsDelivr network. Your browser connects to those services to download the files, which shares your IP address with them. Their own privacy policies apply. Form messages are delivered by email through our email provider.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe, and client records for as long as we work together and as required for tax and accounting. When we stop working together, you can remove our access to your accounts; we never keep copies of your passwords.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Depending on where you live, such as California or the European Union, you may have additional rights under local law. Send requests through the contact form on this website and we will reply within 30 days.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and individual user accounts instead of shared passwords. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure.
Children
This website and our services are meant for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
